United States Navy 1990-1995

My duties were maintenance and operation of the BSY-1 tactical sonar suite, confidential publications petty officer, and ship's engraver. Following precise navy procedures as the ship's publication petty officer, I cataloged and inventoried over 500 confidential and secret publications throughout the ship and ensured that all current updates were properly installed. In my five years in the Navy I advanced from E-1 to E-5. Honorable Discharge.

Reed Thomas Excavating & Grading, 1987-1988

I was heavy equipment operator and truck driver. Due to the way I serviced and took care of my equipment, in one year I advanced from SK3 (skip/dump operator) to SK1 which was Reed Thomas’s newest piece of equipment.

Disneyland, Anaheim 1986-1987

I was an attractions host (Jungle Cruise / Mark Twain / Big Thunder Railroad / Tiki Room) and parade guest assistance supervisor.

Morgan Paving, 1981-1985

Crew superintendent, maintenance repair & operation of four 3-axle trucks, 4 utility vehicles, 2 Case tractors, 1 Allis Chalmers model D motor-grader, 1 10-ton Galion Roll-O-Static asphalt roller, one 4-ton Essick articulated roller, 1 Mauldin self propelled paver.
